A Banquet Fit for the Captain’s Table
Harbour & Jones has been appointed to organise, plan and cater for bespoke events onboard the newly restored 19th Century tea clipper, Cutty Sark. From October 2012 all of the Cutty Sark’s three decks will be available for corporate events or private functions. There will also be a stunning 1000m2 new gallery underneath the ship which will accommodate over 200 people for formal dining, or 300 plus for receptions.
Harbour & Jones has created a mouth-watering menu to complement this unique location. ‘Around the World’ canapés, inspired by the Cutty Sark’s trading routes, include confit duck pancake with sweet chilli & crystalized lime, roasted salmon with black tea & coconut sauce and South Indian pancake with crab, green chilli and coriander. British themed delicacies celebrating the ships origins feature Cutty Sark Scotch cured salmon, duck egg, asparagus and tea-smoked salt, and potted Gresham duck.
Fine dining options are also available to delight and inspire, with an extensive menu offering the very best of British with a memorable twist. Expect to find simple ingredients stunningly presented, with dishes including; smoked baby beetroot, salted walnuts with mascarpone and tarragon salad, slow cooked Suffolk pork belly with seasonal greens and baby fennel, and rhubarb and custard tart with Garibaldi biscuits. Three courses, including coffee and chocolates will start from £40.
